There’s More Than One Way To Hold Two Babies!
Most moms would agree that a sling is a great idea, but that it is not practical for twins. We feel
parents of twins need a sling even more because they only have two hands! Because your babies are
used to being on top of one another in the womb, they like being very close to each other.

Position #1 Tummy to Tummy with Mummy
Heart to heart, chest to chest. (We recommend the larger
size sling for most parents who plan on doubling up). You
po-sition one baby over each breast, facing mom, legs
hanging out the bottom, then cinch up the tail very tight.

Position #2
Two Babies Facing Each Other
Babies are sitting completely curled up, legs and all, in the
carrier on opposite ends of the bag, facing each other. Start
with baby #1 in the normal reclining position, head towards
rings. Then put in twin, facing inward. (It is probably a good
idea to keep one hand on baby. This position is mostly for
newborns up to a few months only).

Position #3
Football Hold/Hip Straddle
It is possible (with a little help) to wear two slings, one over
each shoulder. Little babies can sleep in the lying down
position, while larger babies can hip straddle.

Ideally, Parents of Twins Should Have Two Slings
You be the judge of how long to carry two babies at a time
depending on your size and physical condition. It is not likely
that one person would often carry two babies. But, because
it is so convenient to use, especially around the house, we
would defi-nitely recommend owning at least one Over The Shoulder
Baby Holder. You can put your fussiest baby in what-ever position
makes him happy, and then you have your hands free to tend
to the other one. Or on outings, it’s much easier to carry
one and push one, then trade off. Ideally we’d recommend having
two slings. One regular size and one larger size. Or one for
sling for mom and one for dad!
